This site is a tribute to David. He is much loved and will always be remembered, sadly taken away from us after a stoic fight against Oesophageal cancer. 

These donations will go towards funding valuable research into Oesophageal cancer & it’s treatments.  A cancer often not detected until already stage 4, with a relatively low 5 years survival rate. Together with helping to fund the use of Cytosponge - a sponge on string test to aid earlier detection & hopefully improve survival rates.

Please be aware of the symptons of Osophageal  cancer, never ignore any one of the following: acid reflux; persistent heartburn; difficulty swallowing; feeling like food is sticking; regurgitation; unexplained weight loss; pain between shoulder blades; frequent hiccups; hoarse voice or a cough that doesn’t seem to clear.
